Decking Quote is a product of Quick Quote (quickquote.group). Last updated 9 October 2026.

We process personal data in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Quick Quote is the controller of account data.

What we collect

Account data (email, password hash, sign-in provider), business settings, quotes, customer details you enter, price book entries, and subscription status. Payment card details are collected and processed by Paddle as merchant of record — we never see or store them.

Why we use it (lawful bases)

To provide the service you subscribe to (contract); to keep the service secure and improve it (legitimate interests); and to meet tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).

Your customers' data

For customer names, addresses and contact details you enter into quotes, you are the controller and we act as your processor. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it.

Processors & transfers

We use hosting/database providers and Paddle for payments. Where data leaves the UK, appropriate safeguards (such as the UK IDTA or adequacy regulations) are used.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 90 days of a deletion request, except records we must keep for tax purposes (usually 6 years).

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing by emailing us. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We use essential storage only, to keep you signed in. No advertising cookies.
